I have no qualms about aligning myself with the conservative side of the political spectrum. There are certain things within the current ideology of the school of thought though that I can’t fully agree on. Now I’m about to dump onto one of those which is the Pro-Life ideal.
Well, tell me something Pro-Life advocates. You don’t believe in abortion, right? Well since you’re so hell bent on the issue why are there unwanted children still in orphanages? If you really want people to stop having abortions and either raise the child or give it up for adoption it seems to me that if you go the Option B route than you should be adopting these children. Do you even see the figures for the overcrowding of orphanages in America? It’s ASTRONOMICAL. So where the fuck are these Right-to-Lifers for the children once they exit the birthing canal? They aren’t lining up at the orphanage doors trying to adopt these precious lives they saved. And this is a loose definition of the word saved…I highly doubt hauling newborn children into orphanages where most of them will stay until their 18th birthday would constitute saving them. (more…)
